about me:
my professional background includes successful careers in social work, business and then Human Resources (HR) for 30 years (first as a hands-on HR practitioner and later, placing professionals in their dream jobs/careers). on the personal front, i was also the primary caretaker for a parent with Alzheimer's... implementing age-in-place measures at home to maintain their dignity, while at the same time, ensuring their safety and well-being. my combined life experiences have uniquely prepared me to successfully work with individuals who require patience, compassion, and experienced guidance to overcome their organizing challenges and create a simple life.
throughout my life, i honed my skills... actively listening to clients' needs and working hard to help them develop workable solutions to achieve their goals. though I was extremely successfully organizing programs, clients and accounts, i wanted more. so i seized the opportunity to combine these skills, plus the knowledge I gained as a Master Recycler (town of londonderry, nh) in addition to my intense passion for space utilization, time management and process improvement and launched At Your Fingertips Organizing. this professional services firm helps others create more functional and desirable home and office environments.
core values: my business incorporates 2 things that are very important to me:
- environmental responsibility: i provide services that enhance the spaces in which people live and work in a manner while minimizing the impact on our environment and maximizes functionality and efficiency.
- social responsibility: i am grateful for all the gifts i have been given in life and believe in giving back to others whether in the form of donation or volunteering. As the Chair of the NAPOCares Committee, we spearhead a number of community outreach programs and annual events to spread NAPO member's unique knowledge of organizing and productivity. Programs include community outreach to engage NAPO members, as well as a collaborative outreach in the host city of the annual NAPO Conference.
